As you will have seen the banks of the river flowing from the 11th Green right back through the course to the 7th Tee box have been cleared and a number of small eddies built by a dedicated group of volunteers during the winter months. Ballyclare Golf Club would like to thank these gentlemen for their time and effort for doing a wonderful job that brings the natural beauty of the river back in view. The team ably lead by John Luke consisted of Tom Graham, Colin Black, John Cummings, Terry Dunlop (President) and Jim Harvey.
The bridge from the 6th Green to the 7th Tee box has been completely rebuilt by the Sunday Morning Slicers (SMS) Society. Not only have they spent a wet winter rebuilding the bridge but the SMS funded all tools and materials. Ballyclare Golf Club are indebted to the members of SMS for their generosity and hard work for this project.
